Photo Guidelines
We create your custom artwork using the photo you provide. While we can work with almost any image, these tips will help ensure the best results.
1. Use Your Phone Camera
No need for a professional camera - your smartphone works perfectly! Just use the original photo rather than screenshots or social media downloads, which can lose quality.
2. Good Lighting & Clear View
Take photos in bright, natural light with your subject fully visible and unobstructed. The clearer your photo, the more stunning your artwork will be.
3. Frame Your Subject Properly
- Keep your subject centered in the photo
- Make sure the entire subject (pet, person, house, car) is visible in the frame
- Leave a little space around the edges - if it's cut off in your photo, it will be cut off in your artwork
4. Full Body vs. Headshot
By default, we'll create a headshot portrait focusing on the face and upper body. If you select 'Full Body' from the dropdown and upload a full-body photo, we'll create a full-body portrait instead
Subject-Specific Tips:
- Pets: Clear view of face
- Houses: Full front view in daylight, no obstructions
- People: Front-facing with good lighting
- Vehicles: Full side or three-quarter angle view
